Edaptive retains DBidS with new five-year contract

Edaptive Systems is pleased to announce the award of the Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics, Orthotics & Supplies (DMEPOS) Bidding System (DBidS) contract at CMS. DBidS is a complex and highly visible bidding system that supports a competitive bidding process aimed at lowering out-of-pocket costs for beneficiaries and Medicare payment amounts. Authorized by Section 302 of the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) of 2003, DBidS contributed to the establishment and implementation of quality standards for DMEPOS suppliers. Edaptive will provide CMS with IT services to develop, maintain and support the operations of the DBidS system.
Edaptive successfully completed our five-year contract supporting the DBidS program and was awarded another five-year contract with our teaming partner General Dynamics Information Technology. We are excited to begin the new contract period later this month and look forward to continuing to provide CMS IT support for the DBidS program.
“Edaptive retaining the DBidS contract shows not only that we have the capabilities to perform but also that the client realizes this and is willing to continue to put their faith in us to serve not only them, but ultimately provide support to the beneficiary, ” said Mark Patzschke, Executive VP.
