Edaptive Wins SPARC Contract
A Major 10-Year Multiple-Award IDIQ
Date Published: 6/10/2016
Edaptive Systems is pleased to announce the award of a major Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) large business prime contract called Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC). The objective of this contract is to acquire services under a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), performance-based contract for CMS and all other Health and Human Services Operating Divisions. SPARC has a ceiling of $25 billion and a performance period of 10 years.
SPARC is a critical win for Edaptive Systems. It provides a long-term, large business HHS-wide contracting vehicle from which customers can obtain a wide variety of services. SPARC provides the broadest opportunity to acquire innovative, cost-effective, and efficient solutions for meeting the mission and procurement-level objectives of CMS and HHS. The task orders issued under SPARC will cover:
• Initiation, Concept, and Planning Services
• Requirements Services
• Design Services
• Development Services
• Test Services
• SCA Services
• IV&V Services
• Maintenance Services
• SPARC Support Services
• Data Request Services
The Edaptive SPARC Team has a mix of large and small business companies from across the Healthcare IT industry. In addition to being awarded a prime contract, Edaptive strategically teamed with another large business, an 8a small business, and a woman-owned small business. Each of these highly capable companies were also awarded a SPARC contract. This positions Edaptive to make meaningful contributions to work as a subcontractor in situations where we cannot act as the prime.
“SPARC demonstrates that Edaptive Systems can compete as a large business against a highly competitive field of incumbent large business contractors. It will be the foundation of our growth at CMS and the HHS Op Divs for the next 10 years.” – Frank Zemrose, Senior Vice President of Business Development.
